Fujita joined Marubeni in 1992 and started his career in the Insurance Industry in 2004. Since then, he has assumed senior position roles within the Marubeni Insurance business arm in its Marubeni Headquarter, Captive Insurance Company, Marubeni Safenet as an Insurance Agency and Marnix Tokyo and Marnix Singapore offices. Besides that, he had held a Director role in the IT related company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This provides him a broad insight into managing business in Asia region in particular. After 5 years working for Marnix Singapore, he headed back to Tokyo and became CEO of Marnix Tokyo.
General manager of Power and Infrastructure Dept. since April 2022. He joined Marubeni in 2007, after which he has assumed variety of senior roles within the Insurance and Risk Solution Dept. of Marubeni, ranging from both Marnix Tokyo and Manrnix Europe, Marubeni’s two captives, and Insurance Business Development Sec. of Marubeni. This is the second time he works at Marnix Tokyo. Prior to joining Marubeni, he used to work for MSI as an account executive for six years.
Master of Engineering (Civil)
In 2012, he joined Marnix Corporation to look after Energy Construction and Operation for the Marubeni Group, including Fukushima floating offshore wind project and Akita offshore wind project. In 2003 to 2012, he joined engineering consultant company as a civil and ICT engineer. Planed and Designed disaster prevention and warning system for dam, river, and coast. In 1998 to 2001, he joined JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) as a volunteer, then belonged to Copperbelt University in republic of Zambia and work in department of civil engineering as a lecturer. He started his career at engineering consultant company as a civil engineer in 1995 where he Planed and designed port and airport facilities.
Fumito Nagazawa had worked for SOMPO JAPAN since April 2004. He managed many kinds of insurance agents and small and medium-sized businesses as marketing for the first about 10 years in Yokohama, Ibaraki and Nagoya, and dealt with listed companies in Tokyo, then worked in New York and Bangkok for 5 years. He had handled a variety of clients such as trading companies, banks, leasing companies, chemicals, rubber and construction, has a lot of experience about Worldwide insurance program from the viewpoint of both sides, the master program and the local policy, and oversea projects. He joined Marnix in July 2023.
Takumi Yoshida joined Marnix and started broking for energy related and infrastructure project in April 2022 after working in Japanese non-life insurance company. He has over 30 years of experience in insurance industry and held various positions, such as customer related position for overseas project related insurance, underwriting for overseas risk exposure and management of overseas subsidiaries.
Bachelor of Economics. CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, U.S. Certified Non-Life Insurance Officer), ARM (Associate in Risk Management, Risk Management).
Bachelor’ s degree in Economics.
He joined Marnix in 2018 as an account executive focusing on delivering insurance solutions and services to multi-national companies. He specialises in property, business interruption, D&O, Products Liability, etc. for clients in these segments.
He has over 20 years of working experience in the insurance industry and has held various positions in both in International insurer and insurer in Japan. He experienced client management, underwriting and reinsurance rolls in these positions.
Tomoka Moriya joined Marubeni in 2010. Since then, she has developed her career in the insurance industry at Marnix Tokyo and the Insurance and Risk Solution Dept. of Marubeni Headquarter where she experienced client management, insurance/reinsurance broking, reinsurance underwriting business management and Marubeni’s captive management.
After working at Apparel Industry, she joined Insurance Industry in 2006.
In 2008 she joined a Marubeni Safenet (Inhouse insurance agency) and was in charge of sales department for retail market.
She was transferred to another sales department for marine insurance in 2009.
She joined Marnix in 2013 and has been in charge of marine claims including particular average of various type of import cargo and general average.
